The first snowfall always seems to have a bit of magic to it. Big lazy flakes are still drifting down. The view from my window shows about two inches accumulating. In the next couple of days temperatures will be above freezing and it will turn to a slushy mess. For now I like the look of a light blanket of snow on the landscape.
I love the look of new fallen snow. It can make even my city streets beautiful. But I enjoy it most from the comfort of my rocking chair, looking through my window. :)
