I am not much of a romantic and I do not have any ideas. Keep searching. Be creative.
At a place where I once worked years ago one of my female co-workers got flowers and a card. Inside the card were multiple variations of "Roses are red, . . . " that he handwrote in the card. The one verse that I remember was:
"Roses are red
Violets are chartreuse
You and I go together
Like a swamp and a moose"
She loved it. Who says romance is dead?
