Daisy Bank School November 6, 2016

Former one room schoolhouse that has seen better days. A lot of school sites in Alberta have a marker or sign nearby. This one does not. Apparently operated from 1911 to 1949. South of Halkirk, Alberta just off Highway 855.

    A good candidate for a restoration. It's a wreck, but the structure looks basically sound.

    My grandparents farmed down that road . There used to be pronghorn on the prairie when I was young. I love the crocus and buffalo beans
